Seat is half-ass finished. I like the feel, just needs that upholsterer's touch i.e. skills that I do not possess. Pretty happy with the nice little leather strap to hold the rear of the tank down though. Next is finishing out the tank and obtaining some new bars. #noheaterinthegarage #brokeasfugg

Got some fresh paint on the frame, made a straight pipe exhaust and my first time using a skate deck for a seat pan (from Skate City Supply in ABQ). Support local.

DR200 in Progress

I picked up this little Zuki from a friend about a 4 months ago and just now getting the chance to start some work on it. Breathing some new life into the engine with a fresh bore, OS piston, new seals, valve surface, and new gaskets. Stripped the factory blue paint and getting rid of unnecessary crap.

It doesn't take a lot of money to have fun. Just some friends, ingenuity, sweat, blood and beers.

My playground

Went out for a ride on the dirtbike today in spite of a fractured rib. Had a blast. The sand was blown up onto most of the trails and was almost impossibly deep for the little TLR200 in some spots. Finally got my sea legs back and plowed through. Early season kick off went excellent and I can't wait to get some more off road miles under me. I wanted to stay out longer, but my rib was barking at me to call it a day.
